We have been learning about the 1913 Lockout in History. In the build up to it we learned about the Cultural Revival in Ireland in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries. One of the key people involved in this was poet and playwright W.B. Yeats. He wrote the poem September 1913 about the Lockout and in despair at what he saw taking place in Dublin.
