Over the next 2 weeks the Boys in Scoil Na Mainistreach, Celbridge will be taking part in Active Schools Week 2015. The Department of Education and Skills and Healthy Ireland encourage ALL schools to organise an Active School Week as part of their annual school calendar.
Active School Week in Scoil Na Mainistreach will run over the course of 2 Weeks from Monday April 27th to Friday May 8th. Active School Week is about providing FUN and INCLUSIVE physical activity opportunities for ALL members of the school community. It is also a great way to make students and their families more aware of the physical activity opportunities available to them in the Celbridge area.
We have had a magnificent response so far from clubs and sporting organisations in the community who have agreed to provide resources, facilities and their expertise to the school.
