12 Weeks of hard work came to an end last night with an exhibition of the boys Art Work. The exhibition contained samples of the boys Acrylic paintings, charcoal and pastel drawings. The highlight of the exhibition for the boys was the chance to show off their completed canvas paintings which took 2 weeks to complete. The exhibition was really well attended by friends and family members of the boys.
Exhibiting alongside the boys were members of the local Abbey Art Group who had some beautiful paintings on display which were admired by all who attended.
The Martin Campion Perpetual trophy for Artist Of The Year was presented by his wife Maureen to the winner Daniel Duru. Daniels work has been of the highest standard since the beginning and he was a very worthy winner. Sharon and Rachel who have been such a great help to us over the last few weeks were presented with a bunch of flowers. Many memories have bben made throughout the whole experience but most of all the boys have developed a skill which will last them a lifetime.
