Last Saturday 31st January was a day that we had been preparing for, for the last five months. We had learned 13 songs and lots of dance moves perfected. After the five months we were ready to entertain an audience of thousands on an enormous stage in the R.D.S.
So on the day all 4th and 5th class boys gathered in the school at 4.30 pm. Then at 5pm we started getting on to the bus. When we arrived at the R.D.S we went straight into practise with all the other schools. We learned during the practise that the conductor was the man in charge.
After the practise we had lunch. Then we were ready to perform. .The show began at 8 pm. We began with the Happy song. One of the Highlights of the night came when during the Monster Medley characters from the Adams Family and Ghostbusters ran among the audience as we were singing. The night finished with us singing ''May we never have to say goodbye''. The Peace Proms was a memorable night. Family and friends who came to see the show really enjoyed it . We would all really love to take part in the Peace Proms again.
